Margaret Beatrice Mitchell - 78, of Kingston, passed away Wednesday,
November 19, 2008 at home. Born in Kentville, she was a daughter of
the late James and Beatrice May (Power) Swinamer. She enjoyed her
stories, sitting outside with her friends, and Tim Horton’s
coffee. She is survived by three daughters, Deanna Buckley, Moncton;
Betty (Blair) Barry, Spryfield; Margaret (Darren) Hennessey, Kingston;
three sons, Jack (Gail) Buckley and William (Rhonda) Mitchell, both of
Spryfield; Timothy (Kathy) Mitchell, Coldbrook; 15 grandchildren,
Darrell, Michael, Tanya, George, Blair Jr., Susan, Jesse-Ann, Jamie,
Jason, Donna, Kelly, Christopher, Dennis, Holly and Robyn; 20 great
grandchildren, Shannon, Ryan, Danielle, Justin, Gracie, Braden, Kevin,
Shawn, Jessica, Matthew, Zachary, Kaylen, Jayden, Christine, Anthony,
Marguerita, Zoey, Jamie-Lee, Nate and Mariah; three great great
grandchildren, Amy, Sarah and Cheyenne. She was predeceased by her
husband, George Mitchell; a son, Gary “Bubby” Buckley; a
sister, Jessie Callahan; three brothers, Leslie, Reginald and James.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of the White Family
Funeral Home, Kentville and there will be no visitation, by family
request. The funeral service, followed by a reception, will be held at
11:00 a.m. Monday, November 24, 2008 in the White Family Funeral Home,
Kentville. Burial will take place in the Kingston United Cemetery.
Donations in memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of
Nova Scotia or the charity of your choice. Funeral arrangements have
been entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home, Kentville.
